I love this time of year!!

This time of year reminds me of my Grandfather and
 his wonderful gardens!
I was lucky enough to get some of his Lilac and
I will always treasure them.  Each year I can hardly wait
for them to bloom so that I can have a vase in every room in my house.
(yes, I did say every room, just ask my kids)
I have to say thank you Grandpa for the gift of flowers that
you gave me. You taught me to stop and smell the flowers
and find the joy in nature.  My grandfather was a wonderful man
that would always give flowers to anyone who walked by if he was working in his
flower garden.  He always said a Lady should always have a flower.
Thank you Grandpa for your give of laughter and your green thumb (that I didn't get)
but most of all for the love that you gave your family, and letting us make wonderful memories with Grandma and you.  What great memories they are!!!

I have to double Lilac and each year I wait for them to bloom,
most of the time they do not bloom at the same time.
This year I was so excited they did.  So when you walk into
our house this is the first thing you see and smell.
(of course I put them in Grandpa's brandy snifter)

This group of Lilacs are HUG!!  I didn't want to cut them
so I had Brandon take a picture of it.  They looked like a bunch of
grapes.

One thing that I did not mention before was that all of these Lilacs are over a 100 years old and I treasure them very much because they are my history.  I can know teach my grandchildren about their Great-Great Grandparents and what wonderful people they are.
I couldn't find the picture that I wanted of Grandpa but this one will do just as good.  He loved his Great-Grandkids so much, and they loved him just as much in return.
Love you Grandpa!

So For those of you who are squeamish (sorry Amberlee) I thought I would but up some of my pictures from my surgery. I think they are pretty cool!!!
Theses are two of the tear in my rotator cuff
This if after Dr. Lehman fixed the worst one.
I then I had a large bone spur on my acromion process, it was larger than he thought, Dr.Lehman told me he made me a nice home so that my muscle wouldn't catch any more.

This is the home he made for me!!!
So for the next 6 weeks I am in a sling bound around my waist. It has it's challenges, but this will be worth it in the end. Guy is a strong task master and he makes sure that I don't do what I not suppose to but for those who know me I still try. And of course I get caught! And then I have to pay, usually in pain. But 6 weeks will go by fast right?

SANTA LIVES AT OUR HOUSE
Christmas 2011
It was fun to have Guy grow his beard out this year
kids would follow him around where ever he would go,
thinking he was santa. It was fun to watch kids stop and
tell him they have been good this year!!!!

Happy Birthday Morgan!!!!!!

So this picture may seem a little weird to wish
Morgan Happy Birthday but I thought it would be
a great way, because she came as a surprise, and and
her dad and I were able to surprise her at Ethan's
Birth.
A picture that will always tug at our hearts!
Our 1st Addition to the family
(Did you know what you were getting into Allen?}
Motherhood does her justice
Morgan always kept us on our toes when she was young
(as you can tell, she has never stopped!)
Morgan, thank you for picking us for your family here on
earth, you have always kept our family in laughter, love, arguments, love,
laughter you are great at teaching your sisters and brother how to do good deeds for your fellowman. You were and still are the voice of the weak and down trodden. Keep up the good work and teach you children the same thing. Always remember the small stuff, most of all PATIENCE!!!
Happy Birthday Morgan!!!
